CHD stands for Congenital Heart Defects. It also stands for open-heart surgeries, needles, tubes, wires, hospital stays, numerous doctor appointments & medications for life. You can't tell when a child has a Congenital Heart Defect, their clothes cover up their scars, covering the truth. My child has a CHD & she will always be my hero.
